We are delighted and welcome the opportunity to write this letter of recommendation for DJ Intermill and the employees of DJ’s Critter Care. We have used DJ’s services for over 15 years. She is like a member of the family. After all the love she’s shown our pets, she practically is. . . .

DJ is everything you would want in a friend, which is why we are so comfortable with her care for our pets. She and her staff are totally dependable, absolutely professional, and willing to turn on a dime if plans change. DJ knows pets backwards and forwards, and she has a great sense of humor to boot. Her special skills start with the fact that she so obviously loves animals. For example, we have a sweet small dog, Daisy, that DJ just loves and has cared for since she was a pup. DJ decided that Daisy would be a perfect pet to take to hospitals, to comfort and cheer hospitalized patients. DJ took it upon herself to prepare Daisy for the tests that would qualify her as a hospital visitor. She did this because she loves Daisy and knows the healing power that loving animals can provide. All this is to say she is committed to both animals and people. She is extremely unselfish.

If you are looking for someone who is mature, warm, loyal and dependable to care for your pets, you’ll never do better than our dear friend DJ Intermill and the staff of DJ’s Critter Care

We first used Critter Care in June, 1994. We were taking an epic two-week family trip out west and couldn't bear the thought of our much-loved and very spoiled dogs and cats being cooped up in kennels for such a long time. Since then, we've never used another pet sitter. Haven't even thought about it. All of us, humans and animals, are more comfortable when they stay home. We have complete confidence that everyone will be well-cared for, and the pets actually LIKE their sitters, which means the world. Over the years our pet population has changed, but our pet sitting service never has. Our sitters have coped with older pets who need extra TLC, younger pets who need extra exercise, pets on medication, pets on diets, pets who like to eat on the counters, pets who like to drink from the faucets, even extra visiting pets, and they've handled each
