Employment Opportunities

Pet sitting is a fun part-time job for the most part. Sometimes it's hard work physically, sometimes it's work emotionally but mostly you're amazed that you get paid to play with and care for other people's pets.

Company perks: sloppy kisses, unconditional love, travel, exercise plan, no office cubicle, every day is casual day, no panty hose allowed, flexible hours, site selection and work when you want. Some outdoor work with lots of sunshine. There are many jobs where you get paid to walk a dog!

Critter Care sitters are responsible, honest adults. We do background checks and check references. Sitters must be dependable and very organized. Typically if a person has worked two jobs at once before, they do well with the ever changing pet sitting schedule.

Inside dogs need to go outside every 12 hours so a sitter needs to be available sometime between 6:00 am - 8:00 am and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. There's a lot more work than that but those hours are crucial. Most sitters don't work every morning and evening or even every day but one must at least be available during that time. Sitters need to be available most holidays too. You must be available to work Christmas.

Sitters are paid a percentage of what the customer pays and the percentage goes up after the sitter has been with Critter Care for a while. Also, sitters work within 10 minutes of their home.
